The team at Geo Media Interactive can make telling your story easy.  We can plan, storyboard, script and manage your project from start to finish – on budget and on time. Your vision is stored, catalogued and backed up so that it is available at a moment’s notice. Once your production is finished the project is digitally archived so that it can be restored in the future and work continued on it – seamlessly.

Professional results start with professional acquisition equipment. Our Panasonic HPX502, full size broadcast High Definition camera records on memory cards, so no moving parts and quick ingestion for edit. This is backed up by the smaller HPX172, also full HD. The smaller camera is perfect for “run and gun” style filming, tight spots and transport by air, when space is premium. Backing up the HD cameras is a full sized Sony SD broadcast camera setup. These cameras all sit atop Miller tripods including the full fluid head 3 stage Arrow 25.

GMi has a number of specialised cameras too. We have full high definition underwater filming and stills capability, and the popular GoPro miniature cameras – with mounts for vehicles, rigging and personnel.

In the field our kit contains lighting, autocue and a full range of radio and specialised microphones.

The GMi edit facility is equipped with the industry standard Avid Media Composer. Nearly every major motion picture is edited on an Avid workstation and we boast one of the few outside the metro area. World-renown for stability, efficiency and creativity, the Avid Media Composer is idea for long form productions and can handle all major professional formats.

Our workflow remains broadcast quality until final file delivery, when we can convert the final edit into any file type – from broadcast for network release to web files.

Complementing this setup is a fully equipped voiceover booth, Sound Design software by Digidesign and 3D design software by Softimage
